Who needs truth in lending?

So a bank convinces you to take out a loan with hidden fees and interest rates. Right now you have recourse up to three years to rescind your signature. Well, perhaps no more. The FED wants to get rid of that little old protection. It seems it might just be a little onerous for the poor little banks.

A measure of bias

The difference between using only landlines in polling and landlines + cells + 5.1% favor of republicans. The numbers aren’t completely in yet, but it is looking pretty dead on accurate (ie. bias to republicans). Kind of explains how some races were a wee bit closer than the punditocracy said it would be.

Glad to see the “tea party” has such high moral fiber in their choice of support for loopholes for tax scofflaws, wedding ring millionaires and the bevy of critters scrambling to keep wealth away from the little people.
